Actually, iron steamer is not my totally brand new world. I’ve a really small home with small closets and many clothes. Therefore, closet wrinkles are an everyday issue for me and steaming offers been a daily ritual. People who think steaming can substitute ironing are unrealistic, though, and negative reviews are unfair. Steaming is great for knits, synthetics, woolens, means that basically fabrics that tend maintain their shapes. All-natural fabrics including silk, cotton, and linen- the bad wrinklers- tend to look best when they’re smoothed out with an iron, so don’t garbage your iron! Steaming remains great to refresh after closet wrinkles with the all-natural fibers.

This becoming mentioned, I’ve used different steamers over time. I had gone through about 3 travel steamers when I realized that I required anything more heavy need (and one that held more water). My last steamer was that Conair portable house steamer, the one without the rack. I think I paid $39 that. It had a flimsy hose, was really hard to remove the hose to refill (a major pain!), and the steam was intermittent, plus it “spit” (and spotted) simply as severely as the travel steamers. I simply figured that steamers simply did that. After having it for around 4 years it finally burned out.

I shopped and studied the different house steamers which are available today. I guaranteed myself that I would have a good and better one this time.
“You have what you pay for” I told myself.

When my Jiffy steamer arrived I wasn’t disappointed! It was so significant to look at, with a really heavy duty rubber hose. This thing could manage some heat! It heated up fast, like previous reviews had mentioned, and quicker than that my old ones I had experienced. The best and most great thing is that the steam comes out evenly and always without spitting. It’s very convenient to use! This appliance hat cut down my steaming time in half because of its constant even steam. Another thing that I enjoy is that therefore simple to fill, far more easier than any of my past steamers. After I purchased it I ran into different steamers in shops while Christmas shopping. They all look flimsy by comparison.

The Jiffy Steamer J-2000 is really fun to use and I very recommend this product.

After a month and a half of use the steamer, I should say that I’m very pleased on the Jiffy Steamer. It doesn’t entirely substitute my iron for certain products (i.e., collared shirts that need the collar to be pressed), but it does a great job on everything else.

I, like some different reviewers, am still burning my thumbs sometimes as I try to push the garment up against the board, but I figure that’ll happen less over time.

To be honest, I almost returned the Jiffy J-2000 because I was having a really hard time getting satisfactory results (for cost paid). Basically, hanging garments over the steamer’s hanging post did not work so well for me. I then tried pressing products up against a door with slightly better results. Then, I happened upon a review for Jiffy Steamer 0892A Steamboard. We took the plunge and bought one (store around). And this made all of the difference. It’s like a hanging ironing board and was well worth the price paid.

Overall, I’m pleased on the steamer and would recommend it. I’d offer it 4.5 stars if I (not 5).

I purchased this for my mother as a Christmas gift through Amazon. 7 months later and I cannot think how we lived without it. This is the most great device ever, and Jiffy truly created a great product here.

Yes, the looks aren’t so beautiful, but who buys a steamer because it looks beautiful? I purchased it because the only thing I wanted LOOK BEATIFUL were the clothes!! This machine out performs all of the rival, hands down.

It heats up REALLY FAST, and no spitting of water or any of that nonsense. I steam my clothes in 4 minutes ever morning before leaving for work. My mom uses it to steam her wardrobe, yes I’ve caught her spending an hour simply steaming away happily, thrilled she could have her clothes in looking store bought and perfect with a wave of the steam head.

I’ve even used the J-2000 to steam out the wrinkles on a fabric purse! Great on “delicate” fabrics that would never have before dared seen an iron.
